As someone who always sought comfort and understanding through books, I longed for one that spoke honestly about both the darkness of loss and the unwavering love of God. Through journal entries, heartfelt reflections, and scriptures that arrived at just the right moments, I share the realities of grief while offering practical steps to move forward—one small step at a time. I attempt to give readers what I sought most in my own despair, going through divorce after thirty years of marriage—a reminder that God is present and He invites me to pour out every raw and tender emotion.
Instead of judgment, God taught me how to rest in Him. He taught me ways to shift my perspective. He was always working to create something new. Divorce may break a person, but it can also transform them—bringing them closer to who God always intended them to be.

A collection of essays on God’s love. Join me as I write about observations on the spiritual life in this physical world. I believe that knowing God for ourselves is the pathway to knowing ourselves better and aids us on the path set before us in Philippians 2:12: “...working out our own salvation with fear and trembling,” which is our Creator's loving intention for us. This was my first book, published in June 2022.
